This year, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2025 Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim, California, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

From the moment we checked in, the energy was electric. Trainers, collectors, creators, and fans from around the world filled the venue, all brought together by a shared love of Pokémon and competitive play. The scale of the event was impressive, and being surrounded by so many passionate members of the community was inspiring.
One of the highlights of the trip was securing an exclusive appointment at the on-site Pokémon Center store. From limited merchandise to event-exclusive items, it was a collector’s dream. The experience itself felt special—carefully curated, immersive, and a true celebration of the World Championships.

We also had the chance to meet DeepPocketMonster, a moment that perfectly captured what makes events like this so special. Connecting with creators who help shape and grow the Pokémon community is always a reminder of how impactful this hobby can be beyond just the cards and games.

Just as meaningful were the personal connections—catching up with friends from California and meeting others we’ve known through the hobby for years but rarely get to see in person. These moments are what truly make events like Worlds memorable: friendships strengthened, stories shared, and new memories created.

Attending the Pokémon World Championships wasn’t just about competition or collectibles—it was about community. Experiences like this reinforce why we believe so strongly in the power of the hobby to bring people together, and we’re grateful to have been part of such an amazing event.
We’re already looking forward to the next adventure.
Experiences like the Pokémon World Championships remind us why Card Shows Kindness exists. The hobby has an incredible ability to connect people, spark generosity, and create positive impact far beyond the game itself. Being surrounded by such a passionate global community reinforces our commitment to turning that shared love of Pokémon into meaningful support for those in need—one show, one event, and one act of kindness at a time.
